EXAMPLE: AN INFLUENCING STRIKE TO THE HEAD WITH A 2H AXE IS SCORED AS 8 POINTS
IF THE OPPONENT IS DOWNED, IT WOULD BE 16 POINTS

STRIKES TO A DOWNED OPPONENT WHILE IN A DOMINANT POSITION IS WORTH DOUBLE POINTS
THE REFEREE WILL SIGNAL DOMINANT POSITION BY RAISING THEIR HAND

2H WEAPONS COUNT FOR DOUBLE POINTS

2. FIGHT DURATION

3. WEAPONS AND SHIELDS

EACH FIGHTER IS ALLOWED TO START WITH ONE WEAPON OR SHIELD PER HAND, OR A 2H WEAPON

EACH FIGHTER IS ALLOWED UP TO TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-HANDED WEAPONS ON A BELT


NO SHIELDS LARGER THAN PUNCH SHIELD ARE ALLOWED
(LENGTH 65cm, WIDTH 37cm, THICKNESS 9mm WEIGHT 1510g, PUNCH DISTANCE 35CM)

YOU CAN USE ANY WEAPON OR SHIELD THAT IS "IN PLAY" INSIDE THE RING

A WEAPON OR SHIELD IS CONSIDERED "IN PLAY" AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ROUND.

FIGHTERS MUST START EACH ROUND IN POSSESSION OF THEIR "IN PLAY" WEAPONS AND/OR SHIELDS

DAMAGED WEAPONS OR SHIELDS CANNOT BE SUBSTITUTED DURING A FIGHT 

A DROPPED WEAPON/SHIELD WILL NOT STOP THE FIGHT

5. GROUND GAME


A FIGHTER IS CONSIDERED DOWN WHEN ANY PART OF THE BODY, EXCEPT FOR THE FEET, HAND, OR A WEAPON/SHIELD THAT IS BEING HELD, TOUCHES THE GROUND.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
IF MY KNEE IS ON A DOWNED FIGHTER, AM I DOWN? NO
IF MY KNEE IS ON A LOOSE SHIELD, AM I DOWN? YES
IF BOTH FIGHTERS GO DOWN TOGETHER, DO THEY BOTH SCORE POINTS? YES

READ CAREFULLY:


FIGHTERS ON THE GROUND THAT ARE INACTIVE WILL BE WARNED BY THE REFEREE BEFORE A VERBAL 5 SECOND COUNT BEGINS. AT THE END OF THE COUNT, THE REFEREE WILL STOP ACTION AND STAND UP THE FIGHTERS.
IF A FIGHTER IS NOT DEFENDING THEMSELVES INTELLIGENTLY, THE REFEREE WILL GIVE A VERBAL WARNING BEFORE A VERBAL 5 SECOND COUNT BEGINS. AT THE END OF THE COUNT, THE REFEREE WILL STOP ACTION AND RULE THE FIGHTER KNOCKED OUT.
ONCE THE ACTION IS STOPPED BY THE REFEREE, ANY ADDITIONAL STRIKES WILL BE CONSIDERED ILLEGAL. ONCE THE REFEREE STOPS THE FIGHT ON THE GROUND, FIGHTERS
 MUST CAREFULLY SEPARATE. THE REFEREE WILL BEGIN A 5 SECOND COUNT TO ALLOW FIGHTERS TO GET TO THEIR FEET, AFTER WHICH ANY FIGHTER THAT IS STILL CONSIDERED DOWN IS DECLARED KNOCKED OUT. IF BOTH FIGHTERS ARE ON THEIR FEET BY THE END OF THE 5 SECOND COUNT, THE REFEREE WILL CONTINUE THE FIGHT.



6. OUT OF BOUNDS

THE FIGHT WILL CONTINUE UNLESS TWO FEET ARE OUTSIDE OF THE CIRCLE.

IF A FIGHTER INTENTIONALLY STEPS OUT OF BOUNDS WITH BOTH FEET, THE REFEREE WILL ISSUE A WARNING. SECOND TIME IS A YELLOW AND THE THIRD IS A RED CARD.

ANY TIME THE REFEREE STOPS THE FIGHT DUE TO OUT OF BOUNDS, THE FIGHTERS WILL BE RESET TO THE CENTER OF THE RING.

THE REFEREE CAN ALLOW THE FIGHT TO CONTINUE IF A FIGHTER STEPS OUT OF BOUNDS WHILE CIRCLING THEIR OPPONENT. 1 POINT WILL BE DEDUCTED, BUT THE REFEREE CAN CHOOSE TO ALLOW THE FIGHT TO CONTINUE.
